The wool that makes all the difference

Our wool boots are made with a wool blend that we have spent years refining. It is made from wool from Danish Gotland sheep and wool from New Zealand and this combination is perfect for obtaining the level of comfort that glerups seek. It provides comfort on many levels, not just the soft touch of the wool against your skin. It has the ability to keep your feet warm, when it’s cold, but can also keep your feet fresh on a warm day. This is due to the wool that keeps excess moisture and heat away from your feet. 

The wool also absorbs any bad odour that might occur and locks it in, so you don’t have to worry about having smelly feet even if you wear the wool boots for a long time. Both smell and excess moisture disappears from the boots when you let them “rest” for a bit, preferably in some fresh air. glerups are easy to maintain and in doing so, you can elongate their time of usage, so you don’t have to replace them right away. Lastly, it is worth mentioning that the wool blend has a molecular structure that is close to that of human skin – this means that even when worn for a long time your skin will not be irritated by them.

When people think of Danish design, Lego, Georg Jensen or Arne Jacobsen might be some of the first that pop up. In our humble opinion, glerups fit perfectly into this way of thinking. Our footwear has a simple design, is functional and elegant. The simplicity of the design makes them fit easily into any wardrobe or style and they don’t have a lot of excessive accessories or other types of decoration – just slipper boots that keep your feet warm. Their functionality is found both in the many places they can be used such as school, work, home, but also in their durability. The perfect indoor winter boot to keep your feet warm in cold weather
